Well, I've never bought tickets to anything faster.

 

I'm doing a b-sides runthrough today, I have a 2 and a half hour playlist running :-o

 

Fuck man, those shows!

 

So Nandi singing harmonies can make me like anything i guess.

 

I wish I could make those shows. Would be incredible

KevDev and Nandi is everything I've ever wanted in life, even if I didn't know it until now. One of my favorites from that album too.

And I'm super jealous of everyone who gets to go to those shows. Even more special considering we know that his shows will be few and far between for a while.

 

Is there a reason he's chosen those two albums in particular?

 

He did something similar back in 2012 and I believe these are the 2 records he left off of that one.

 

So a review copy of this just showed up in my inbox and it's fucking wild (but not surprising) how well Kevin is able to translate and transform these songs so masterfully. I guess the obvious comparison would be Hope, but so far, I'm enjoying this much more (although I enjoy Instigator much more than Cope). Beautiful stuff with some surprise keys throughout, perfect Fall listening.

 

the new version of freddie gray is really good and i prefer this take on guard your gates. the bridge is great on that one

 

I saw he posted chords for I was alive back then, might preorder the lp if that's included

Kept forgetting this is happening. I just put Matter of Time on in the car and was like "oh shit". I'll be giving it a spin while i cook dinner tonight.

 

Disappointed it was so much of not Kevin singing in that song
