Jesus Christ what a tour. Super gutted that Houston / Dallas are on the same weekend as Austin City Limits. Edit: read this as October, not November. Now I'm super pumped. Pinegrove / Julien Baker alone is kind of a dream tour for me, Kevin Devine and Petal is a great way to solidify the lineup.
Damn, wish Boston wasn't at the Royale. On the weekend, headliner needs to be done by 9:30-9:45 and no encores
Her headline run stretches till the end of September so I think it's unlikely, plus she may have different touring plans or studio time after
I instantly bought tickets once I saw Julien Baker and Pinegrove were playing in Houston... But I've never really listened to Kevin Devine or Petal. Any recs on where should I start with those two?
Wish Julien Baker was on the Philly date because all of them together would be great. Regardless though Kevin, Pinegrove and Petal is such a good lineup.
For KDev I would start and Bubblegum it's his most accessible for sure. Then check out Brothers Blood and go from there Petal just listen to Shame it's their only album but they also have EP's
Holy shit Petal is so good. They may actually be the band I'm most excited to see, since I never have before.
In case you were wondering: Evan from Pinegrove has never listened to Brand New, he just taped a tiny desk concert today, andddd Julien Baker is everything. Wow.
