sounds like your problem is that you still believe in things like politics & righteousness. This is an album about letting go of all that foolishness

 

Kevin’s got a song about his losing his dog Murphy, and he’s got songs about standing up for social justice. He sings about his family, and he sings about lying politicians. I think writing about what’s on your mind is what important. He never seems to do something because it’s trendy, but rather what’s on his mind. Sometimes that’s personal and sometimes it’s political/about injustice.

 

Is this a joke post? Because even if that's the point of the record, this is an insanely condescending way to explain that to someone who may just have a different preference than you lol

Nothing’s Real, So Nothing Wong. Sucks to hear he had to cancel show dates. For those with Patreon, is the bside like the album or are the bsides being released as an Ep?

 

Not that I feel I need to explain myself, but it certainly wasn't a criticism that he doesn't go political, just an observation.

 

this is his second best album after Bubblegum

 

I agree that Bubblegum is his best album

 

Bubblegum is also my fav but I don't think this touches a lot of his albums

 

I loved Instigator but struggling to get into this one.

 

Instigator grew on me with every listen.. This one is kind of..... not hitting like I need it to? I guess im not on the wavelength he is at currently. I think I listen to Instigator the most these days if im being honest.. "I was alive back then" is incredible.

 

Instigator is too sporadic for me. I’m definitely on his wavelength with this one in a way I haven’t been since when middle brother came out

 

I’d still take Brother’s Blood as my favourite record, but every record has great songs. Ballgame is still my favourite KD song.

 

Bubblegum is pretty handily my favorite.

 

Bubblegum doesn’t even have the best version of She Can See Me hahaha.

Id argue Kevin’s variety allows his fans to have different favourites, so whatever you connect with you like of his.

This album has really grown on me quite a bit since release, particularly after reading the lyrics

 

I wish he’d release more of of his Patreon stuff through bandcamp.

 

This album really clicked with me this morning. Might try to set up an interview or something.
