Albatross acoustic with Kayleigh

 

Albatross is just an all around stick in your head song. From the live stream totally acoustic version I heard months ago, full band album version and the kind of alt version I posted above. Such a great choice for a lewd single from him. Song works in different life forms like Another Bag of Bones.

He also indicated he worked on lots of songs between albums. Nothings Real has 11 tracks. No One’s Waiting Up EP has 5 more acoustic tracks. Anyone know if he’s got more planned? I feel like he indicated 18 or so songs somewhere along the line. Could be a Patreon release only too I guess.

Also hope he does another into the ether bandcamp release eventually.

 

Something “Tomorrow”.

Album is giving me a Between The Concrete and Clouds vibe with parts having a bit more dreamy/hazzy guitar tones which he’s done since that album came out (Red Bird, Kuala Lampur, Both Ways, BB’s No Reward)

I know the album is not until late March, but why not just release the song and video at the same time then, instead of lyrics visual video. Thought it might be another song.

 

Pretty sure it is a new song. That clip isn’t from the song Albatross and he mentioned on his Patreon that new music would be out this week.

 

I assumed the same thing because of the clip

 

And now there’s another tomorrow video. This album has an interesting sound. It may take a few listens but I think I’m gonna be happy. I wish he simultaneously released an acoustic version of each record still though. Yes I am greedy for enjoyable KD music
