seeing the 1975 same night as the asbury date, haven't seen adult mom yet, but i had no idea about the union transfer show, so i'm definitely there for that.
The tour was announced shortly before the thread was created. But Adult Mom isn't on that date, just a heads up incase you didn't know. The only way I could find dates listed was with the astricks / symbols and I'm just too lazy to edit them. Lol.
Yeah I got that, haha. I was just saying it sucks I haven't seen Adult Mom yet, but the support on that UT show is phenomenal and I'll definitely be there.

This was actually the first time I've seen Kevin by himself and it was a really great experience. He was very funny and relaxed and everyone just had a great time.
Rochester show was great, I don't think I have the last half of the set in the exact right order he played them but I'm pretty sure all the songs are there. Go haunt someone else Tomorrow's just too late Trouble She can see me She stayed as steam The longer that I'm out here Instigator No why Daydrunk Freddie Gray blues No history Bubblegum Private First Class It never stops Safe Every famous last word Little bulldozer Protest singer Cotton crush I was alive back then Brother's blood
Here's the setlist from last night in Portland: Go Haunt Someone Else Tomorrow's Just Too Late She Can See Me Tapdance Brooklyn Boy Another Bag of Bones She Stayed as Steam The Longer That I'm Out Here Freddie Gray Blues No History Daydrunk Instigator You Wouldn't Have to Ask (Bad Books) It Never Stops (Bad Books) Private First Class Carnival Every Famous Last Word (Miracle of 86) 11-17 Before You're Here Just Stay Cotton Crush Ballgame Brother's Blood I Was Alive Back Then
See you there! Funny how Bravo kept saying "Tickets selling fast!" Now it's "Plenty of tickets available at the door!" Lol
I hope it is! I know I'm going to walk up and buy them. So for that reason I'm glad it's not sold out. Lol.
I went to Cleveland and Columbus, both where a lot of fun: -The lead of The Dig had to fill in on bass in Cleveland, which sounded a little weird and Kevin wasn't completely as focused / into it as usual due to that fact, I'd say but it was still a damn good show. -I have seen him around 20 (+/-) times and never heard "Billion Bees" until last Wednesday. So that was great. -Some girl kept bothering the bass player, talking to him, stepping up on stage, during one of KDs solo she got up on stage and walked over to him. Twice. When is that acceptable? It was so annoying. But they way Kevin handled it was awesome: "Oh, it's okay, this happens every night." "It's okay, eveything will be okay" and "Is no one working at Mahall's tonight?" Made for laughs -Brothers Blood was full band and he broke his guitar strap so he had to sit during the solo end of the show, which was cool. -Columbus he played "Luxemburg", which I also had never heard. -Andy was back. Overall the show sounded better and Kevin was more energetic. -Both sets where similar but had some differences. Brothers Blood was just Kevin solo last night. -Setlists if anyone cares: Kevin Devine Setlist at Mahall's 20 Lanes, Lakewood Kevin Devine Setlist at Double Happiness, Columbus -He said he doesn't what or when his next tour is but I know I'll be there.
Kevin handles loud/annoying people the best. He's no angry about it, but he always calls it out, usually in a funny way.
He does it with such class and hilarity. By going "Oh yeah, don't worry this happens every night!" It was great and I'm sure the annoying girl didn't even notice what he was saying to / about the situation. I've been at other shows of his when people are people are being ridiculous and he always makes comments that are hilarious. Typing this made me remember when he got the chair to sit down for his solo songs and the end of the show, one other girl was talking really loudly and he said "It's okay don't let me interpret you" or something along those lines. Lol. KD is the best.
my band linelions is opening for Kevin in September at Debonair Music Hall in Teaneck NJ (formerly Mexicali Blues), check out our album! and then come and hang out and see us and them (its with the Goddamn Band), I can't wait, I'm so excited.
