as someone who isn’t much of a fan of his solo stuff I love this new music

 

I hope these songs all work better in the context of the album because none of them are really grabbing me so far

 

FWIW I saw him play most of the album and he hasn’t released any of my favorites yet

Love this on paper, but in execution, something just isn't clicking with me. Happy for him to be doing what he wants and trying new things, but for some reason, Kevin Abstract doing Alex G isn't hitting the way I was hoping it might.
