Is this an intentionally small venue tour? The Portland venue only holds around 1600, I thought Kesha was an arena act?

NYC venue is 3500 and the Philly venue is 2500. I'm guessing this tour is hitting up the biggest non-arena venues?

Nah, Roseland is only 1,400 and Crystal is actually a bigger venue here. Weird/awesome.

Pretty sure this is a purposeful underplay tour. She's pretty smart when it comes to tours. She usually starts small and works her way up over a 2-3 year period and tours more often with more legs instead of one larger arena tour.

When the Cannibal EP came out in 2011 (while she was one of the biggest names in pop), she started doing a ~2,500 cap venue run in the spring when she easily could have sold out arenas, and then followed up in the summer with a large arena tour, followed by another arena run later on. Very smart business move, IMO.

she also hasn't had new music out in like five years, no current huge radio hit

Pretty sure the only arena dates she's done were with Pitbull haha

Hammerstein ballroom in nyc is huge.

Also word up to me going to the pitbull kesha show a few years back

Is she going to play old singles?

She played the House Of Blues Cleveland last year and sold it out. She's not playing a huge place now but still a decent venue size upgrade.

I thought we would never see her tour again. With all the drama going on, I sort of thought her label was through with her. I'm so pumped!

I'd be more into this if it weren't on a Sunday, but I'll still bite. I'd still be down to do this.

Birmingham tickets for this sold out in like 10 minutes. Grabbed 2 right when they went on sale! My fiance and I are very excited!

Both Boston and NYC sold out almost instantly.

Pretty sure this whole tour is either sold out or very, very close to it.

Surprised how much hype this album is getting on here. Parden my ignorance but weren't her first two albums critically-panned pop drivel?

she's always been incredibly talented with some jams, just overproduced insanely, but there were very good songs.

this album is her finally being able to use her unprocessed voice, plus the hardships she's been through lately makes this an incredibly exciting album

Kind of pissed at myself for not buying tickets right away. I'm actually considering paying stubhub prices for this. I'd really love to see her. I could try to go to Milwaukee which would be cheaper, but I'm not sure I'll make it in time from work.

I assume she'll have at least one opener right?

I'll be in Detroit, one block away from this show, seeing Brand New.
