This is such a good record. It's so fun to return to because it covers so many styles that it never really gets stale.

Side note: I wish pop stars were quicker with their vinyl. Still waiting on Lorde, I'd love to get this, and I'm going to probably want the new Miley album too.

 

The vinyl is due 10/27. Still a long wait, I've been DYING to spin this.

It's going to be a mass release, 2XLP on standard black. A bunch of sites have it up (urban outfitters, bull moose, etc.) but you shouldn't have an issue getting it.

No exclusives or any other variants currently, to my knowledge.

 

why the hell is there not a rainbow colored vinyl? big missed opportunity.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. I was really holding out for that.

 

Possibly a special release down the road? Tour exclusive?

 

Got to witness it last night and it was really special. A very powerful moment.

 

So far this might be my favorite straight up pop release of the year, can't quite think of anything else that battles it for me

edit: oh wait, dua lipa. duh. this is my second fave pop record though

 

mmmm damn yeah Dua is close too. I think I might like this a bit more for the sheer variety of it, but HMMMM

 

I think I mostly agree. I think I still like Melodrama more, but are you classifying that as straight up pop?

Haha I thought maybe you were making an argument that Melodrama was more indie pop or something like that. Well either way they're both really damn good. I still need to listen to the Dua album since you are all giving such great reviews

 

I dunnno though, Lorde is fuckin killer and I don't really like "Gorgeous." But it's Taylor, so we'll seeeeee

 

It's a killer pop album, super catchy and just solid music
