I might go to the Detroit date. I've never seen either and if tickets are cheap enough I wouldn't mind getting lawn.
I think this makes sense honestly. They both had their "peak" in terms of commercial performance around the same time. Both have plenty of songs people know. I don't really see trouble getting a decent sized group to get some lawn seats to this in the summer. Really excited to see Kesha. I'm still mad I didn't see her in October. Not particularly excited about Macklemore, but I mean I'm not going to pretend that when the booze starts flowing and he plays the hits that I'm not going to have a good time.
The Dallas show has lawn seats on Groupon for $20 https://www.groupon.com/deals/gl-tickets-kesha-macklemore-starplex-pavilion-dallas-june-2018
I have no idea why, because I have zero interest in this tour, but for whatever reason I looked up the setlist for these shows and Macklemore is only playing 10 songs and Kesha only 12. What a joke.
I saw a Behind the Scenes highlight of the tour on Facebook about an hour ago so it peaked my interest to see what he was performing. I look at setlists from all different tours all the time just because it's an interest of mine. I was stunned to see how few songs they were both playing.
So I guess I do have any idea why I looked it up (tour highlight video) and although I have no interest in going to the show, I was at least interested in seeing what he was playing, to better answer the question.
I was considering the Tampa date and thought the same thing. Also, does anyone know who closes or if they switch off?
Got free lawn tickets from the TM settlement and sold them for $55. Bought me a ticket to see Jenny Lewis. Fuck yeah.
