It took me a while to warm to this album. I've grown to really like the deeper cuts, and not just the singles. It's a very different album compared to Bonito Generation, but I'm glad they didn't make the same album twice.
I think I like some of the newer stuff after seeing it live. Some of the reworked songs didn't really work for me.
Their live set was super fun. How they translated old songs to being done with a full band is incredible . Toronto crowd was going wild. They encores with like a metal core version of trampoline lol. Most hype thing I’ve ever seen. Hoping for a CRYING /// kero kero tour in future as they fit so perfectly
Hyped for this. I still play the last Civilisation EP all the time. Hoping this leads to an album later in the year like TOTEP did.
My friend loves this band and has told (begged) me to listen to them for a while, but I’ve never given them much of a listen. Where’s a good place to start?
new EP is only 3 songs if you want to tip toe in, otherwise start with the full album. There's not a TON of material overall so you can figure out pretty quickly if you are on board
I honestly have no idea where to tell someone to start with this band, but I will say that Bonito Generation was my entry point and it also fuckin rules
