It’s not even believable, “they want Kendrick to post a statement clarifying Drake isn’t a pedophile if Kendrick agrees to end the beef” - I’m sure they’d love Kendrick conceding on both fronts lol, he gains nothing from that as written
I apologize for posting a rumor from X (formally known as Twitter) I will take some to reflect on my actions.
Wasn't calling you out. Just wanted to provide an update of sorts for people that might not be clicking on the tweet to further expand.
Wait is the OVO receipt the case regarding a woman who was not Whitney, that was investigated and found to be unsubstantiated, and that Kendrick spoke on a decade ago on the breakfast club? Or is there more and I just can’t find it?
If we are including Ross’ song, you can include All To Myself off the Future and Metro 2nd album with The Weeknd’s verse and also Show of Hands from that album with ASAP Rocky’s verse
you could go back to the control verse too, that could be a fun exercise lol I remember the tde cypher when he said something about tucking a sensitive rapper back in his pjs, always assumed that was to drake
I must have missed that part, Weeknd and ASAP both say something about Drake too? Haha true, I think that's probably a bit too far removed from the saga going on here, but you have good points
Yep, that’s why Drake talks about them in Family Matters. Their verses on those songs are directed to him.
I did actually listen to Mr. Morale again for the first time in a while inspired by all of this and it really is an amazing achievement of an album. Any other rapper putting that album out would blow everyone away, so the fact that this is MAXIMUM the third or fourth best album by him is a testament to how fucking generational of an artist he is
I really wish I liked Mr Morale more but outside of Father Time, Mother I Sober and Auntie Diaries I just can't get into it. Whenever I've tried to listen to the album from start to finish it feels like such a drag.
Morale really good. I get why people think it’s a step down from the three that came before, and I wish Kodak wasn’t on it, but I think it’s a pretty brave record in a lot of ways.
