If he set Kendrick up and had receipts he 100% would have shown them by now. Him making the claim feels like he’s buying for time and trying to neutralise some of the heat on him right now. Could be he’s holding back if he’s anticipating Kendrick dropping again but his response was weak without showing any proof. If he had it would’ve been genuinely impactful.
There is one person I expect to actually come through with receipts here and it is not Aubrey Graham In any case, some pretty serious accusations have been thrown out on both sides and they gotta put their money where their mouths are eventually.
If Taylor Alford actually is Whitney’s brother I’d be hard pressed to imagine that he’d be caping for a guy that beat his sister. If he’s her brother of course.
I am so uninterested in this 'beef' because I have never once in my life taken Drake seriously as a rapper. To me, he's a (overrated) pop star. Honestly, Drake is so beneath Kendrick that I am surprised Kendrick has spent so much energy on this.
oh I kinda figured he had a mole for the Kendrick stuff but like everyone else has been saying that for years/months about him before this beef lol
the real problem is the fact 6:16 in LA isn’t on streaming or at least have the alchemist release the instrumental
"Pop Punk Band" by Avoid One Thing (featuring Matt Skiba) is kind of hilarious considering what happened to Blink.
If this is how it ends and Drake goes back to business as usual I’ll be pretty let down at this conclusion, but I’m still bumping Euphoria daily, and Meet the Grahams is still gonna go down as one of the most brutal diss tracks ever so at least we got that out of it, hopefully Kendrick does drop an album soon and I’d be happy with it being a little more balanced like Euphoria was
Yeah ultimately I don't really see this whole episode having any effect whatsoever on either guy's career Everyone who hated Drake before this and already thought he was sketchy at best a deviant at worst still thinks that Everyone who loves Kendrick doesn't believe anything Drake said about him Neither provided any evidence for anything Drake will continue to do huge numbers, make pop hits and sell out arenas Kendrick will continue to be the most respected rapper there is and so it goes
I'm very curious to see next week's Hot 100. I wonder if any of these tracks will chart, being released on different days in the tracking week, etc. And if any chart, who charts higher
