Enjoyed this, but the entire vibe of this track is just “Don’t make me say this other thing, which I’ll allude to but not actually mention” which feels a bit weak. That said, the Sexxy Red line got me.
Kendrick’s reactionary bs flaring up again, this song is much better than push ups. Way more engaging and fun. Some good digs, feel like neither of them have anything on the other anyways.
“I make music that electrifies em, you make music that pacifies em. I could double down on that line but I’ll spare you this time. That’s random acts of kindness” He definitely calling him a pedophile too I think
Was underwhelmed until I read the lyrics and listened a couple times, still feels like he’s saving his best for after Drakes response but on its own this shit is still great and full of bars, lots of references that went over my head at first
I feel like he sounds like he’s having fun, which is kinda rare for Kendrick when he’s not with Baby Keem. “Keep making me dance, waving my hand and it won’t be no threat” made me laugh.
People were speculating the diss would be on the album which gave Drake Stan’s all this “omg he’s doing it all for hype” so I hope this comes to an end before he rolls out an album but also wont complain if he does both, new Kendrick is always good
Sorry, this song is REALLLLY good. I don't really care how good of a diss track it is, the song itself is fantastic
The more I listen the more it gets better both as a song and a diss track, he responded to nearly everything, I’m a fan of him doing the goofy Keem collab style in parts, love the beat switches, people calling it 1-1 but to me that AI shit doesn’t count and it’s 2-1 Kendrick because Like That still slaps
I’ve listened to it 6 times in a row. It’s a really good track. Yea it’s not the best diss but Kendrick came to make good music while shitting on drake
Even the part where her made a “mistake” seems to be a complex line that ties in lmao, also notable that cardo who co produced this also did Gods Plan, that combined with the significance of the title and that quote on the artwork, yeah this was worth the wait
