I'm going through his discography again to get ready and I feel like DAMN doesn't get the credit it deserves among general audiences. Sure it might not be quite as good as two indisputable classics in GKMC and TPAB but it's still an absolutely incredible album. I actually forgot how much I love it

And of course S80 is amazing too

 

this is probably dropping 9pm on the west coast since I took a quick trip to New Zealand there for something and it's not out yet

I'm certainly not coming into this thread until after I have given a full listen to the album, that's for sure

 

I’m going to play the album back-to-front for my first listen to get ahead of the theories

 

I’m not going to listen and only read the fan theories and tell everyone why they’re wrong

 

I'm more excited for The Stereo's new album

 

Imagine a social experiment, where you don't listen to the album but ONLY read up on fan theories/reaction/etc for... oh, maybe a week? And then you attempt to record the whole album from scratch yourself. Obviously you'd have to be a great musician to do it, but still would be a wild experiment

 

excited for baby keem to be the highlight of the album as he should
