Just got back to my hotel from the show in LA (visiting from MD) and what a fucking experience that was. I can already tell that Not Like Us in that crowd will be an unforgettable experience for me

 

dj mustard played it at camp flog gnaw and while no Kendrick, it still just hit so damn hard

On a more serious note I've had to ask for seating because I didn't realise I had a standing ticket. With my disability, 3 hours standing after being awake since 4am isn't happening, so I get a clear line of sight and get to save my legs! I also get a physical accessible ticket?!?

 

Absolutely fucking speechless, made the Big Steppers Tour look like a warmup. Generational talent, and SZA (who admittedly I didn't come to see and haven't listened to much of) absolutely brought it too. Delving into her back catalogue this week I think.

Argentina show last night was wild. Splitting TV off in 2 parts is brilliant, had to be wait through the rest of the set to see when he was gonna finish it and then when the final part comes in it really pays off.

 

Drake Lawsuit Over Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' Dismissed by Judge

Holy shit lmao this dismissal from the judge is BRUTAL towards Drake’s entire argument

 

“In her decision on Thursday, Judge Vargas sided entirely with UMG, ruling normal listeners would not expect “accurate factual reporting” from a diss track “replete with profanity, trash-talking, threats of violence, and figurative and hyperbolic language.”

She pointed out that Drake himself had engaged in similar language, quoting from a line in “Family Matters” in which the star was “heavily implying that Lamar is a domestic abuser” and another in which Drake says he heard that “one of Lamar’s sons may not be biologically his.”

“The recording was published as part of a heated public feud, in which both participants exchanged progressively caustic, inflammatory insults and accusations,” Judge Vargas wrote. “This is precisely the type of context in which an audience may anticipate the use of epithets, fiery rhetoric or hyperbole rather than factual assertions.”

 

The fucking 'Talk about him liking young girls, that's a gift from me' from Taylor Made Trainwreck could have sank this case on its own. He took it and ran with it.
