I’m surprised more than 10 thousand people purchase any given album especially digitally lol so that number seems fine to me. Like I’m surprised anyone purchases music digitally at all unless it’s an indie band through bandcamp but I believe enough people are out of touch that the number could conceivably be 10k. 30k is a little wild to me who is still purchasing digital music?

 

I know pos-Kanye, some people like to do it because they don’t want to have the record change or get taken down

 

I know people don’t tend to be as literate in the high seas as they used to be but I still feel like if that’s a thing you care about you probably have some knowledge of torrenting

 

I had the original version of Pablo on burnt CD for my car, still messes with me hearing the updated version of songs

Uh same, I'm listening to it and even though I haven't heard the song in years it sounds off lol. I feel like the version I remember was more abrasive mixing wise, or that the beat had sparser elements? Didn't realize he tinkered with stuff that much afterwards

I haven't listened in years but my iTunes has all versions of Pablo that existed

 

In 2019 I was pulled over. They searched the car and found my 2 CD folders, Big Blue and The Hamburger full of burnt CDs. As they went back to their car to call in for back up I grabbed the folders and abandoned my vehicle. I have been on the run ever since taking the train and metro everywhere I go.

I had previously given him a copy of 50c's seminal album Get Rich or Die Trying in September for his birthday. Helen was not happy about swearing and my mum was shocked and ashamed as she had taken me to Sonic Mucic to buy it. We are going to see Daft Punk's Interstella5555 next week and Mum has been helping Helen knitt for baby Arthur.

It’s been so annoying the way they’ve covered him this year. If you think he’s washed just say it with your chest!!!!!! If you don’t think so then don’t have the only person on staff who feels that way be the one to write about him!!!!!!

 

It feels like theyre looking over their shoulder to see if broader culture will give them the license to write him off. Was weird when they gave Morale a low score (by Kendrick’s standards, at least) and two years later it was in their top 25 albums of the decade so far.

 

Reading through more of the list that’s how the whole thing feels

 

funny what sitting with an album for an extended period and letting it grow on you will do, rather than forming hard firm opinions on something the moment you finish your first listen lol

I saw a reel speculating that the deluxe version will drop on December 12th (or 13th).
