I said it in the other thread, but if you have seen any of Kendrick's award show performances, it's easy to see how rock-influnced Kendrick makes much more sense than other artist's attempts
It could be, good artists make bad albums sometimes. I wouldn’t judge it ahead without even having a single song yet.
If I’m reading between the lines correctly, it sounds like the album might be good, but also has the potential to not be good.
This proves that the internet is stupid. The single word "rock" anywhere near the name "Kendrick Lamar" has already set off so much shit
I dunno, I honestly prefer Kendrick's rappy-rap stuff over his experimental shit. So the idea of a rock album doesn't really excite me.
I feel like "rock inspired" is way too vague for anyone to have any idea what it will actually sound like. I would say a lot of his music already has been rock inspired. But if it's like his verse on "Don't Don't Do It" tho I am not ready
This is vaguely "rock inspired" whatever that means There see how good that was now everybody calm down
he had some rock instrumentation on the DAMN tour too (thinking about the XXX Grammy performance in particular) Kenny > Cudi
Just announced a headline show at Hyde Park with James Blake and Brittany Howard. I am going to go to there. I'm guessing if he's lining up summer festivals he's likely to have something out by then.
