No surprise but this shit's dope

 

album is really good.

after my first listen I think X, Opps, I Am, Paramedic and Seasons are my favorites.

 

Best soundtrack album in a long, long time. Love that Kendrick is on like, an additional 5 or so songs uncredited

 

Holy shit this album is fucking good. That Vince song was everything I ever wanted it to be.

 

I've never heard of Yugen Blakrok but I really liked her on that track

 

this is really good. feels like a very cohesive album

 

Album is excellent, not a weak track on here

 

Guess I'm one of the few who doesn't love it. Some fine tracks (Khalid x Swae is fantastic), but it feels too much like a incoherent patchwork to me tbh. Maybe that'll change with time, idk.

 

when I first heard the Vince song I was like oh dang I want another yeezus.

I then remembered I could just listen to yeezus or big fish theory.

The Weeknd bores me so much. Maybe it's just me, but he ruined that last track.

BIG FISH THEORY IS SO GOOD

 

Big Fish Theory a masterpiece, probably number 2 hip hop album of the decade imo

 

Big Fish Theory was good but I'm not putting it on an all decade list, I'd have it behind Summertime probably, but they're both high level

This was solid, the only song I didn't really like was the Weeknd one that felt like a generic superhero soundtrack choice. The rest did feel cohesive and well put together, felt Kendrick's influence throughout.

 

I wish I loved Big Fish that much. Good album though,

 

I don't know who Yugen Blakrok is but they had a really great verse. I'm going to have to look more into them.

 

Haven’t had a chance to listen yet, but all the positive reactions have me optimistic.

BFT is great but it doesn't touch Summertime 06(which is probably my favourite hip hop album of the decade)

And I also think BFT is one of my favorite hip hop albums of the last several years

 

I mean BFT was still top 10 of 2017 for me

 

I like BFT more than Summertime, but I know I'm in the minority on that. BFT is just next level to me.
