Isaiah is my favorite TDE guy after Kendrick, consistently underrated Perfect time to for this shitpost
why do you assume this? In 2013, I saw the TDE tour (Kendrick, ScHoolboy, Soul, Jay Rock) and they all did individual sets. No songs together at all. Jay Rock didn't even come out for Money Trees - But they did do Money Trees together at Kunta Grooves.
four acts seems like a normal show, this seems grander than that. basically more of a seamlessly flowing set with transitions. that's my guess
I kinda hope you're right... I'd love to see Ab and Q do Druggys Wit Hoes, or Kendrick and Soul do Illuminate or Ab-Soul's Outro. I just assumed the opposite. I figured we'd get super short sets from everyone but ScHoolboy and Kendrick.
SZA monthly spotify listens at almost 20 mil, Schoolboy at 5 mil Blank Face has a slight edge over CTRL in first week sales but SZA went gold and Q never did That's only two data points so prove me wrong tho
im not saying sza isn't bigger but it sounded like people were acting like Q isn't big. i know people who would show up just for q
I said Q should be headlining his own show instead of getting stuck doing like, six songs? I just don't like massive tours like this and it doesn't sound like not a mess
Yeah I’m also not about big tours. If I’m paying Kendrick Lamar prices I wanna see him do a full set, and I don’t think that’s feasible with this many acts on the bill. I’m probably gonna skip out on this tour and try to see them all separately at some point
yeah I feel like if I did something with that many bands I'd be exhausted by the time the main act went on, I get tired after 2-3 hours sometimes
Wtf is the reaction in this thread I've literally fantasized about this tour for years, I never thought it would actually happen. No Zay is definitely disappointing though I could see the show starting earlier than most. My guess is something like Show starts at 6, SiR and Lance get like 10 minutes each, then Rock and Soul get like half hour each, Q and SZA get an hour, Kendrick gets 70 or so I think that math works out to end at roughly 11
yea most seem to be 7:30 start time I wanna go but not sure if I'm gonna splurge like I did on Kendrick last year, might just go for regular $99 seat this time.
3/3 songs from the soundtrack with Kendrick, is he going to be on every track???? Kendrick Lamar & The Weeknd to Release 'Black Panther' Collab
Lol oh at least I got to be creative for a second Guessing shared sets between the less popular artists and solo ones for Kendrick, SZA and probably Q then
FYI, just got an email from Ticketmaster regarding this tour and it has Isaiah Rashad and Zacari also listed on the lineup.
