Seems to be the new trend, unfortunately. Kayne did that with all his merch. Just bought a 2 Chainz shirt and it's printed on Gildan too.
i'll spoiler it so people can go in with a surprise if they want basically a lot of it focuses on the journey of "kung fu kenny" and there's a lot of generic stereotyping of japanese martial arts culture, the "sensei", the "mysterious female ninja", other things like that. lots of displaying of japanese characters throughout, idk. felt weird about things a little bit
It's probably a homage to Wu-Tang and so on. I would still have advised against it as his manager though.
I was out shopping today and some girl grabbed the DAMN. vinyl and her boyfriend said "not worth it, humble is the only good song" and I wanted to fight him
I waited like four hours in the pop up shop line this weekend hah. Though about bailing after hour 2, but something something sunk costs etc. Got the Boston exclusive tee but they were out of mediums lol whoops
I only recognized Deja Vu I've hardly listened to J Cole. I mostly just see people slamming his albums so I've never gave him a proper listen
He's good. He has his cringe-worthy moments (the songs about fucking) but overall he's really not as bad as people make him out to be. And he's not as savior-like as his fans would make you think. Best criticism I've seen is that he's essentially a Hollywood made copy of "the perfect intellectual rapper."
