i vibe it but i still think it's frontloaded and not as strong as his previous work. DNA and Element is hard af tho

 

Only songs I skip are Feel, Pride, Lust and Fear.

 

Oh man, I love Feel and Fear.

 

Can't hear the chorus of GOD. without thinking about Laughing To The Bank by Keef

That's like saying the only Star Wars movie you skip is The Empire Strikes Back.

 

Or that TESB is great but you skip the entire Hoth scene, the Luke/Vader fight, and Han being frozen in carbonite

 

This is a very concise strong album, I can't imagine skipping anything

 

I'm not totally sold on Lust and Love yet, but I wouldn't skip them.

Yeah Loyalty is probably in my upper half of the record.

 

The drum sampling on Love makes it an immediate 9.5 for me...so clever

 

Lol dude I love the WHOLE album. But I've probably listened to this thing front to back like 20 times already. Now I'm trying to chill out on it a little and only listen to select songs at the gym....and those four arent the best workout jams lol

you guys see this? I have not been a believer in the second album rumours at all, but this seems like... something?

 

Am I the only one who doesn't really skip songs if I'm listening to an album?

Skipping around and playing specific songs is a thing of it's own, but are there really people skipping the same songs all the time? Especially this early?

This obviously isn't a new thing I've seen, but something that's bugged me for a while.

I can't imagine writing a song off forever after a couple of weeks.

 

I skip songs a lot because I'm awful

But I don't skip anything on this album unless like I'm on a short drive with a friend and want to show them something specific before the drive is over

 

I never really skip any songs on an album, if I put something on I play it in full. Also don't replay albums a ton, this being an exception. And I totally skipped Real last time I tried to get through GKMC, that album did not hold up well for me.

 

Yeah, I hold GKMC in a lower regard than most seem to.

I very rarely skip songs if I really don't like them, nothing on this album or most albums is that bad

 

I can't blame anyone for skipping something they don't like.

That being said I haven't skipped anything on this album once. I'm excited to get my hands on the vinyl.

 

Real is my favorite Kendrick Lamar song. So so beautiful.
