I think that's the issue- the more radio friendly songs on the album (God, Love) both on a purely sonic level sound like what Loyalty is going for but in a more earpleasing way. Had both of them stuck in my head alternating all week.

Loyalty is a little boring. I don't think calling it the weakest track is necessarily hate (at least it's not on my end), it's a fine song. There's just 12 others here imo that are more compelling be it hooks, production, or lyrically. It's more how high the bar is than anything else. I've seen a couple things say God is bad and that's the one I don't get. It's like the closest and album with this particular theme is gonna get to a victory lap. Also completely unrelated but musically the best part of the album is both beat switches in Duckworth, so cool how they both come in both the first one out of the sample and the second one that's like pure 90s
Gonna be the nerd who says is the download lossless? Cuz I might pay now for an album I'm getting in 3 months if that's the case
Woohoo! Now to wait for July if there's no delays :( It'll be nice to have the greatest rapper alive's handwriting in my living room.
been on a Kdot binge after the release. I've been listening to DAMN like crazy, with TPAB, untitled, GKMC and section80 in between. forgot how amazing "i" is
All of TDE's videos are fucking dope but especially Kendrick's. Cheadle killed that video Q has amazing videos too though
Me too! I watched the SNL performance he did and forgot just how good it is. By the time I had really digested TPAB that song wasn't one of the most memorable parts for me.
