everyone who likes PRIDE. needs to go listen to Steve Lacy ASAP. His production is just unbelievable.
Is there an actual story in the album? Or is it more of just him going back and forth on the what ifs? I mean, I know he gets shot in BLOOD and in DUCKWORTH he talks about his probable death in a gunfight if his father died. I was just wondering if the character in BLOOD is mentioned anywhere else on the album, or anything like that.
For a second I thought his name was Steve Lacy ASAP. Like rocky, and then realized his name was ASAP Rocky, not Rocky ASAP. DONT JUUUUDGE ME
Not sure how unpopular this opinion is, but I don't think this album is anywhere near as great as his last two. I like it but it's not really growing on me like I thought it would.
man i love how rihanna's vocals are used in loyalty. doesn't follow the typical "come in for the big sweeping hook" formula that you'd usually expect.
i think it's a little too radio friendly in its structure, it feels too safe. liked Rih's contribution tho
Don't think there is anything wrong with a song being radio-friendly. I don't think it sticks out in a bad way. Rihanna kills it and kenny glides right over that beat. Really smooth song. (not saying people don't like it because it's radio-friendly, I just don't understand how that song isn't getting a little more love)
I feel like there are songs on the album more radio-friendly than Loyalty and those songs get unanimous love
