So people are saying one of the weaker tracks is God? That's the one that keeps getting stuck in my head
This is my favorite Kendrick album. I've always acknowledged his talent, but the prior albums just didn't hold me enough. He seems to have trimmed the fat down on this one.
I'm really liking this. I doubt anything of his will hit me the same way that TPAB did, but with comparisons aside it's a good album.
who is, kendrick? ofc everyone else ignores this conveniently (sorry, i'm not letting my anger go just yet lol)
Kendrick. his new album is full of religious themes but he's always been pretty open about it, i've seen a lot of acknowledgement of it in the community since it figures a lot into his lyrics, he's probably next to Chance as one of the most prominent rappers who's also openly Christian.
I've seen a couple people say they don't like LUST, so I'm just stopping by to say that it's one of the best tracks on this very incredible album.
Lust is good, yeah. Loyalty worst on here for me. Certainly not bad, but other than Rihanna's voice being so damn good it feels really inconsequential compared to everything else. I've listened to the album about 4 times, so I'm sure my preferences will change.
God just sounds average to me, feels VERY throwaway for an album this good. I love Loyalty and think it'll be a huge single this summer
Yep, love Rihanna but she doesn't quite do it for me here and the track's probably my low point. Still good though!
Can't say any track on here feels throwaway for me. I have track preferences sure but nothing I can say I don't like or wouldn't keep.
he's talked a bit about it but mostly it's a spirituality thing that doesn't show up in his music too much, it's like front and center for Chance's and kendrick's work. they're all valid belief strategies but I would sooner talk about the latter's beliefs because they're more relevant
Definitely faked. I still don't think a second album is coming, and this current one is fantastic so it doesn't matter.
