Thematically it strikes me as a more more metaphorical version of Ready to Die

 

This song with U2 slaps. Never thought I'd say that sentence.

Been listening to this since yesterday and am thoroughly enjoying it. Don't think there's a song on here I don't like.

 

Where are you getting your inside info from?! Soundwave? Top Dawg? Kendrick's sister?!

 

Yeah so this is awesome as expected and probably my favorite Kendrick project after three or four listens. Love the direction he took this in.

 

I feel so much rage when Geraldo says "this is why I believe hip hop has caused more harm to young African Americans than racism"

 

The dismissive woman at the end of Blood is even worse imo, it's more subtle but epitomises the toxic mindset and attitude of a lot of conservatives towards race issues.

 

Sometimes I wonder how Trump became president, and then I see a Fox News clip and I see how.

honestly im starting to buy into the theories a bit. he's super Christian and there's a ton of duality/doubled themes on this album

 

I think Element is my current favourite. It sounds fantastic in big headphones.

 

only way this should be listened to is on big headphones/speakers tbh

 

Or in good small headphones. Like pretty much every other piece of music.

 

I put really good small headphones inside really good big phones while sitting in front a home theater audio system.

 

Only way to properly listen to quality music of course.

 

You know, that's actually not a bad thing. Wearing IEM's underneath noise cancelling on ear headphones would give very good noise isolation. Of course, the home audio system would be a waste...

 

No. I want to sit on the subwoofer and feel the bass. Really feel the music.

 

I only listen to music with crappy bluetooth speakers, on full volume inside of a big old empty opera house.
