Speculating that there's more to the concept is fun but don't let it warp your critical lens. This is a complete body of work and a fucking good one at that.
This makes waaaaay more sense actually lol. Listened to the first half of this while driving last night, and listened to it in full this morning on headphones. I like it so far tho and I think the sonic direction he went in is cool, if not as up-my-alley as TPAB. I need to listen to it a lot more before I say more than that.
I've seen quite a few people in other forums claim "God" is their least favorite? I thought it was a great song. I can't even pick a "least favorite" yet, just want to keep taking this in as a whole. But seriously, "Love" is perfect.
Honestly HUMBLE might be my least favorite on here. Been listening all day and keep finding new things to like about it.
The speculation is fun but I imagine what it'd be like to be Kendrick and work so hard on this album and make it sound so damn good and finally release it and every place is like "THERE MIGHT BE A SECOND ALBUM"
With Kendrick headlining Coachella on Easter Sunday, I'm sure his performance will be very special, if nothing else.

It does seem like something is going to go down though, whether its a remix album, another record altogether, or something involving his Coachella performance.

I'm trying to put my finger on what potential influences this reminds me of Like obviously it sounds like Kendrick and something Kendrick would write but it's fun to me to dig deep and find stuff like that I kinda hear Dead Prez in the approach
