    Arrived today. Put it on the turntable this evening when we had some guests over and it sounded really good. Looking forward to getting a closer listen in tomorrow.

    “Perennials” just absolutely guts me every time I hear it. Yates writes about grief in a more emotionally tangible way than any other folk songwriter I can think of.

    Something about the guitar and overall stormy/swampy summer night vibe of "The Great Resolution" reminds me very much of Bon Iver's "Perth," and I can't think of higher praise than that. An amazing song.
