Her new Xmas album is pretty great, again. I like the original way more than the standards, and it's kinda badass to have divorce holiday songs because hey, the holidays are sad for a lot of people

 

Really, really, really solid EP.

 

Really wish she’d release a proper album! Maybe next year.

 

would kill for a new album in the vein of these covers, a bit grungier, at times heavy, rock-leaning, etc

 

Kelly really can cover any genre, can't she? Damn excellent EP.

Divorce album coming in 2023…should be interesting. Kelly has been relatively drama free throughout her career so I wonder how this will go.

 

No offense but I hope this is better than Adele’s divorce album…haven’t had a good divorce album in a while.

From the full interview:
- Most of the album was done 2 years ago. She wrote 25 songs in a week and most of them are on the album.
- It sounds like she wasn't even working on an album until the divorce happened
- She wants to do live shows again, she's just figuring it out with her schedule. A tour will only happen in the summer because that's when the show isn't filming. (Also I feel like someone said this before but she literally said she "checks that box" by singing on her show everyday ffff it's not the same thing Kelly...)
- Stevie Nicks told her she needs to go back on the road and was giving her shit about it (good)
- She's not sure if she'll be back on The Voice but it's not a definite no.

Very curious about the album but I’m so very very ready for it. And concerts?! Yes please.
