So this review from the show I went to says the Chance track is a remix of something called "They Say", which doesn't seem to exist in any studio form?? So maybe it's not a remix of whatever that song is but the original, which may be produced by Kaytranada. Idk if anyone cares, but I've basically been wondering about what this song is since the second I left the show so Kaytranada / Lou Phelps Danforth Music Hall, Toronto ON, May 20
I fucking love this record. Whoa, packed with bangers. Echoing everybody piling praise onto the Craig David/Phonte tracks. Congrats to him on winning the Polaris Prize.
The Polaris win is very surprising. Very happy for him, even though I was hoping it was Grimes' year.
Yeah, I was just dying for it to end the whole time tbh. Don't think the Chance remix is very good either. I didn't fuck with the 0.001% mix either though, so idk what's up.
Caught up to this today and I enjoyed it. Usually a ton of guests are a distraction, but it's so complete on this one that it's legit its own aesthetic. Is Anderson Paak on every single album that came out this year?
Listened to Tribe in the car, then first spins of this and Mac Miller today and it's like I put on a Paak EP at some point.
Yeah it's really good. Paak sounds so at home over knxwledge it's kind of nuts he didn't have a beat on Malibu
