Justice for Never Really Over tbh!! I still jam that one frequently

 

I think that was the only song I heard from Smile, it felt like a return to form for her though

 

I don't really care for her music much but I love Daisies.

 

Anyone see Katy live recently? Gonna be in Vegas next month and am very tempted.

Best thing to do, now it has to actually be good this time and that remains to be seen

 

Surprisingly good. Seems like she's back to that Teenage Dream sound with the video having that quicky vibe from her early years.

 

Yeah not a particularly exciting track, but I’m not gonna be mad at her keeping it bread and butter

 

I mean at the least that video will be great fodder for haters to turn into gifs of her dying in different ways whenever she does something dumb

She has a really good voice for pop rock imo and there were a few moments of the song where I could hear lil moments of that vocal style in the verses but I feel like she sets herself up in the chorus and won't be able to sing that live.

Tbh she should've leaned more into the sexy quirky vibe she used to have once Sabrina Carpenter started being successful with that, instead of being desperate and soulless and working with Dr. Luke. Cause I don't mind this song but she grossed me out with that.

 

This new song... haha. The beat, chord progression, and tempo is way too similar to "Roar."
