This feels almost like an insult to all the fans of his music to me, like "I can make a song where my only lyrics are 'Poopy-di scoop' and y'all will still buy it for $1.29 on iTunes/stream it millions of times"... like he's testing how little effort he can put in and still get people to eat it up.

I get that Lift Yourself is like a joke but still released as a single? And then Ye Vs The People feels like he really thinks that's his serious album song, and that's really bad if so.
We might not have sales figures, but you're kidding yourself if you think the hype machine for this record after these songs got posted is on the upswing.
