Read the youtube comments on YVTP. If Kanye knew the types of people rallying behind him and how they're interpreting his message, I'm not so sure he'd be aligning himself the way he is. Or maybe he would, who knows, dude's nuts.

I was at a party tonight and Kanye came up. I thought everyone was gonna laugh about Lift Yourself, but there were actually a bunch of dudes trying to tell me the "whoop dippity poop" verse was a great meta commentary about how rappers don't care about lyrics in 2018.
