The messages on his previous albums often directly contradict what Trump stands for. I hope people will disregard his new work/no longer support him. But if they feel they can still listen to his previous releases then they will find plenty of positive messages. Fans from the early days were not to know just how far up his own ass Kanye was willing to go for publicity. Honestly I already regret my previous comments arguing this was not a "dumb" move in case they came across even a tiny bit like I was supporting what he has been doing. I am 100% against it. He wants everyone talking about Kanye West and from that standpoint he has achieved his goal. It is up to the rest of the world now to ensure "no publicity is bad publicity" is proven to be bullshit in this case.
I could see him using this just for publicity and in friday being like “see how easy it is to manipulate the media” or some bullshit like that. This whole thing fucking sucks and is just so gross
Ummm...”Bill Cosby Innocent!” Him telling Wiz about Amber Rose that a stripper “trapped him.” And "I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years." I wish “Wiz wears cool pants” was the only controversial tweet.
Lil Yachty tweeted that he now knows why people were asking him about Ye and a "yikes", then a gif of himself walking away from the conversation

I'm just excited to see Jeff Rosenstock tomorrow so I can sing Let Them Win very loudly and hopefully feel a little better
And sadly enough most of them will still listen. And go to the shows. That's why I have said what he is doing is not necessarily "dumb". It's a lot of things but he knows he is getting maximum publicity so the most people possible know he has a new album coming out. There are roughly ten billion less damaging ways to do it, but there are very few ways to better guarantee himself global headlines.
