This is actually what I interpreted those lyrics as too... I was surprised to see so many people take it as him bashing Kanye

 

People are quick to see a name they recognize, go straight to twitter, and call out SHOTS, without even really thinking

 

It’s so obvious those first two lines and the rest are two different things, I hate the rap internet, bunch of cornballs

Yea same. I read those first two lines as pro Ye more than anything. Speaking on their friendship and their gifts. Nothing more.

Though after that I wasn’t quite sure who he was talking about in the next couple of lines.
