its frustrating to watch music twitter turn a blind eye to this bullshit, try to start a dialogue and be told "if you didn't get it by now it's pointless to explain it to you" yeah sorry i really really don't get it, i've tried but it all seems ignorant, hypocritical and a double standard. if you don't want to explain then a thinkpiece or something would do i guess these are people writing for what i thought were progressive, dialogue-based media outlets by the way
I have no patience for the "we should listen to both sides!!!! be kind and tolerant of everyone despite their opinions!!!!" rhetoric constantly thrown around. People are so gullible.
Kanye West is stupid. He is not a genius. He is stupid. Wild that this is how I feel now. Two years ago, I paid 100 bucks for nosebleed Pablo tickets. Seeing him appear at Magnificent Coloring Day with Chance was one of the best events of my life at the time. But, Kanye West is stupid. He is not a genius. He's another man with a messiah complex who only listens to people who are as deluded as he is.
Something that's really bugging me though is all these news articles coming out saying "Kanye West boo'd and cast members storm off stage as he gives pro-Trump speech." I wish that was what happened. But no, the video I'm watching has people in the crowd clapping for him, screaming "I love you Kanye," and the cast members in the background dancing along to the music. That would have been a great statement if McKinnon and Jolt were to walk off mid rant (couldn't make out who is in on the stage).
Seeing celebrities call him out with this much shade is giving me life. edit: Damn you can't read the text with this size. Here's the original link: https://i.postimg.cc/T2sf3stx/Do_X9_Cu6_UYAAs9_OK.jpg
Kanye could have been one of the biggest voices to speak out against Trump. It’s not surprising, but it is depressing that he prefers the approval and attention of one powerful white man than all of the millions of people that loved him from day one.
