Relistened to yeezus and 808s yesterday and today. Really amazing. Yeezy has never disappointed me tbh so im pumped for whatever he has in store for us
I love TLOP, but I think it's probably his weakest. But it's more of a "least favorite" thing than any sort of dislike.
TLOP is fascinating to me. Just speculating, of course, but it seems that Kanye's in a much better place now and I fully expect that to come through on the new record, and I can't wait.
Yeah I honestly don't find it messy, just a messy rollout. The final album flows incredibly well, especially everything before Silver Surfer
It's a great album but you cannot say it's not sloppy. Most of it does flow pretty well but it's still sloppy.
I guess I have a different definition of sloppy. I find the record to be crafted meticulously. Even if we were given a glimpse into multiple different track listings the end result was chosen for a reason and I can no longer find fault in any of it. For example I find the last 20-30 seconds of “Pt. 2” to be one of the best moments of the record, it’s perfect. If you would call that same moment sloppy then we will probably just agree to disagree. I think the first 4 track run is my go to in the entire Ye discography. It’s basically a song suite.
