Overall he came across well during the interview. A few weird detours like always but hearing him talk about mental health so much was pretty great
Yeah, was expecting a massive train wreck. Tip toed a little, but the mental health talk was very good.
I’ll go to my deathbed thinking anyone that even half supports Trump is a very bad person doing very bad things to this world. You can make a choice for what you’re for. Being for *this* ... is wrong.
I see this and think at the very least he’s making an attempt at making this statement on mental health but for me he doesn’t execute it and it gets lost in a lot of the really clumsy, rushed, and tacked on lines that are unavoidable in every song
Super bummed to see everyone shitting on WTT so much. I had the deluxe CD and it was one of the albums that defined my senior year of high school. Of course, I haven't listened to it in full for almost 4 years so it could totally suck other than the tracks everyone has already mentioned.
I was happy when Jimmy asked how he could say George Bush doesn't care about black people, but then ignore that Trump is literally separating families at the border........but then Kanye just stayed silent, they cut to a commercial, and they didnt address it again.
The beat is actually really cool and I like "you got a smart phone but a dumb ass" but other than that I'm pretty glad he cut this from the album
Kanye on His Response to Kimmel’s Trump Question: “I Wasn’t Stumped” | Pitchfork still doesnt answer the question though?
XTCY, again, sounds like some demo. This whole era of releasing stuff right after he makes it does not look well on him
Finally listened to this record and I didn’t hate it. Liked two songs and even those were littered with terrible lines. Listened to Kids See Ghosts twice and don’t remember any of it
This was a demo track from Ye, it was listed on one of the tracklists that he had written on those white boards.
