Otis, Primetime, Made In America, Murder to Excellence, and The Joy are the ones I love from that release
How are you fucks not picking Paris? Its a perfect song. I spent that entire year playing it on repeat at parties
The reading of HA is very good. That song does not hold up tho. Gotta Have It underrated but it gets outshined by Otis.
Push has been talking about a tour with Ye, Cudi, Push, and Teyana in interviews then add on the reports of him wanting to tour soon from earlier this year.
Cake, cake cake cake cake cake 500 million, I got a pound cake *****s is frontin', that's upside-down cake Get 'em a red nose, they clown cakes They shoulda never let you 'round cake Look at my neck, I got a carrot cake Now here's the icing on the cake Cake, cake cake cake cake, UH!
Illest Motherfucker Alive, HAM, Church are probably the only WTT songs that I go back to. Pretty disappointing album tbh.
I thought it would be pretty obvious I was talking about after that. Like closer to the album coming out WTT is honestly one of my least favorite Kanye projects but certain songs are still amazing
It's funny that there's a general consensus of WTT being disappointing yet everyone has different songs that they like from it and return to.
I wouldn't say it was anywhere close to disappointing, there's just been several better albums from both artists. No Church in the Wild, Paris, Otis, Gotta Have It, Murder to Excellence, and The Joy are all fantastic
It feels like just a collection of random songs that they didn’t spend much time on and didn’t have much to say. It was particularly disappointing since it came out really soon after MBDTF, which was pretty widely seen as a coherent culmination of everything Kanye had done before
Feel how you will about Kanye at this point, but to say he has nothing to say on Ye is ludicrous. It’s one of the essential works exploring the frightening impact of mental illness. It’s extremely raw and open in that respect and I think that’s absolutely having something to say. I dunno, maybe it can only apply for people who have had their mental health pushed to that brink. Few records have helped me recognize and cope with my own mental health issues the way this has.
It was too easy of a joke! I honestly havent listened to this outside of Ghost Town since it dropped, so I’m happy to hear you’re finding value in it
