This is neck and neck with pusha for me. I like them both for different reasons.

 

Yea like I put Pusha above but I do not knock anyone for liking this more because they're so different. It really depends on what you go for more I feel.

 

Same here. Pusha is obviously tighter in terms of rhymes and more consistent (not a fan of Freeee at all tbh). But KSG just hits that emotional sweet spot that Pusha can't really get to. Never thought a Ye verse would make me feel the way track 7's verse does ever again

 

I dig Freee I think it's fun.

 

Also this album is really important to look at in context of Cudi's last few years imo. Reborn feels like a reclamation of his positive attitude after years of struggle and it makes me feel things

 

interested to see how this holds up after the novelty of being better than ye wears off

 

haha yea, I'm going through it again though and I'm still digging it. It's not flawless by any means but I think I'll still think it's solid when all is said and done.

 

its definitely a good album but i dont know if its near as good as daytona or pablo yet

 

oh yea I wouldn't put it on either of those but it's a fun thing to have around and I think I appreciate it. We'll see for the future though.

 

Im not sure Ill feel like listening to Daytona very much pretty soon

Pablo has gotten better for me in the last 6 months ha

 

yea I just finished my second listen and I LIKE it. I don't love it, but I am perfectly content with liking it and it will stay in my wheelhouse for the future. Again it's also a sort of relief to like it after just not liking anything about ye so that could be influencing me a bit, but I think I'm at a point where it can stand on its own and I'll still like it for what it does and tries to do.

 

I very much like KSG, but it's still not something that I think I'll ever look at as more than just good.

Which is fine, thats miles above how i feel about Ye.

 

Amazing how much better kanye sounds on this than on ye

This is really excellent imo. Even separate from being better from Ye, I think it’s great on its own merits.

 

I like 2 songs on ye and 2 or 3 on this

so thats like almost the same amount of like...

I was so convinced this whole day that 4th dimension was actually sampling Cab Calloway because I didn't even think Louis Prima was real.

 

I fucking love KSG.

The first song gave me hardcore Big Quint-face, Kanye's gunshot adlibs are great (though I could definitley see other people absolutely hating that part lol)

The sample flip on 4th Dimension is probably my favorite of 2018 so far, I literally said "that's fucking sick" out loud when the beat dropped. Kanye's rapping is also great throughout, although I definitely feel like this album feels more like Cudi featuring Kanye, though I'm okay with that seeing as Ye just dropped last week


Heavily unpopular opinion (on this site at least) but I've liked each of these three albums better than the last, though Daytona is still one of the rap projects of the year for me. This experiment is really working for me so far.



Really hope a Kanye/Cudi tour happens, probably with Push too

am i in the minority thinking this is the worst of the 3 ? these feel like unfinished song ideas not actual songs. i enjoy the experimentation but this feels even more unfinished that ye.



i wish we could hear whatever Kanye had before he returned to twitter.

 

KSG sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more finished to me than ye like it's not even a comparison in my mind
