i mean i like some of their write ups but as a whole i find the website wildly irresponsible and its a horrible look for them to publish that james blake track review in the state it was in just weeks after scott from frightened rabbit committed suicide, given the way he was written about on the website in the past.

 

I'm so not into FJM also I keep reading it as Female Jenital Mutilation

 

Was really hoping this would surprise us all, and I haven’t listened yet, but the lyrics I’ve read are BAD even by Kanye standards. What a disappointing figure my once-hero has turned into.

i also think people here would really vibe with charlotte hatherley's new record, true love. it technically came out last year (pledgemusic vinyl-only deal) but materialized on streaming services today and god it's gorgeous synth-pop you can practically swim in

 

it almost feels like you're holed up in that hotel with him throughout the album

 

You should write something about this.

 

seeing as its my album of the year so far and will very likely wind up extremely close to the top of my list, i likely will at some point this year!

He's a nice dude. He's from here and I still see him around time to time and he hangs out and talks as if he's not internationally known and near universally liked. Great talented dude.

 

I've only listened twice to the whole thing, but the singles have gotten better every time and I immediately loved the rest of the album, so I'm sure I will be right there with you. And yea pure and sad is a great way to describe.
