I understand but it's really not anyone's place other than his close friends and family and doctors to make such speculation

I hear ya. When you put lyrics like that out there i don’t think he should be surprised about fans speculating

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Regardless of the lyrics, it's still very uncomfortable to speculate about that kind of thing. Just don't.

    “Wouldn’t leave” so bad

Should every emo frontman be on suicide watch?

No, but I don’t think many of them have literally said “I think about killing myself” repeatedly on a song though. I’m also taking into account all of his recent behavior

I can’t listen to this from an objective place, which is a bummer. “Ghost town” seems like something I should enjoy.

I mean I have probably over 100 songs in my library about suicidal ideation and I've never once thought any of those artists should be on suicide watch because that's not my place. I'd just really prefer not to once again see mental health speculation from people who are extremely far removed from the actual real life situation of Kanyes mental state. It's deeply discomforting

I like the sound of this, but the lyrics are garbage tier.

Super frustrating album, and not in the way I was expecting. I assumed it would be more great kanye and tainted by how unlikeable he is as a dude, but this is for pretty much the first time an album that actually feels like it’s influenced by all his shitty ideas. The first three tracks could be the three worst of his career, especially lyrically.

Musically he clearly still has it, which is great or a shame.

You knew the lyrics were gonna be bad when he said “Am I too complex for Complex” on the push album

I really dismissed Yeezus at first and came around it in time... but there was obviously a lot more going on there than here.
