Waiting until the CDQ to listen but the super split reaction I'm seeing is making it kind of hard to wait

 

I caught snippets on NPR (last place I thought I’d hear new Kanye for the first time tbh) and I did not like what I heard at all. Whatever. Maybe the full thing is great and I’m just biased cause Kanye is trash, but I’m not gonna bother listening.

damn this really is worse than i expected. you can remove all the narrative and it’s still objectively terrible.

Also to get the thread back on topic I can not imagine how someone wouldn’t at the very least want more socialist policies ie taxing the rich more, throwing that money towards helping lower income areas and the people in there, healthcare for all, giving people the services they need to enjoy a healthy, happy life? why should people suffer when we should have the support systems to help?

From a practical perspective I can’t ever see how someone can oppose that until they’re racist or selfish

 

Definitely an important conversation worth having, really helps with the legacy depending on what it is

 

Because as this thread has proved our education system is a complete failure and any mention of a socialist policy brings on questions like "what about the USSR/Cuba muh freedoms"
