I'm listening to Family Business right now and I'm barely keeping it together. Kanye is amazing.

 

Not gonna rank because it's nearly impossible. I've explained why before but TLOP is definitely top five, maybe even my favorite on some days.

I can't fathom thinking 808s is his worst. Top three easily.

I have been listening to TCD a lot recently. Definitely my favorite album of his.

 

The Brandy hook on Bring Me Down is so good

 

Listened to a lot of Graduation last week, and while it's definitely my least favorite Kanye album, some of those songs hold up extremely well. Still a great record.

I watched that the other day. Liner Notes is a fantastic series.

 

I completely forgot Kanye used to dress like that. That red skeleton hoodie is totally something Pete Wentz would've worn ten years ago, plus at 4:02 he's wearing a jacket that looks suspiciously like my chem's The Black Parade jackets...my love for Kanye makes so much more sense now

pretty sure it was confirmed in 2008 when "Heartless," the greatest emo song of all time, was released

 

Graduation is just so bad outside of the singles.

TLOP while messy is still a better Kanye creatively than most of his catalog.

I also feel bad that people can't dissacoiate the album from the roll out.

 

"The Glory" and "I Wonder" are two of the best songs on there

 

I definitely can, I haven't listened to the album until months after the release I think

 

Everything I Am is also great

Not liking TLOP is weird

 

If it don't touch my soul then I can't listen to it

 

People can say what they want about the rollout but the premiere at MSG and the thread for it on AP was some of the most fun I've had in my ten years on AP/Chorus.

I remember leaving work early without telling my boss and the show ended up starting like 45 minutes after it was supposed to so I got in trouble for nothing haha

 

I stood in my break room - not on break - for like 15 minutes before it started and then another 30 once it already had. Somehow, nobody seemed to notice.
