The circumstances surrounding this remind me a bit of the creation of MBDTF

So holy shit fuck yes

 

I'm gettin' those MBDTF vibes. I hope he really focuses in to give this album a consistency TLOP lacked for many listeners.

 

Always have high hopes for his music.

 

Only tracks I don't like on TLOP are 2 of the bonus tracks (Fade and FACTS)

The other 3 bonus tracks are great entries into the canon (30 Hours, LA, Saint Pablo)

 

Fade is undeniably dope, but it never really seems like a Kanye track to me.

I agree, it's just a little atypical from his "usual sound", which I 100% embrace.

he doesnt have a usual sound though, almost everything he does is atypical that's why hes the best.

I mean, yeah, you're right. You're preaching to the choir. I love the diversity in his music.

Fade just seems to be his first step into "house" music (if that's even labeling it correctly) - I dunno... It's one of his only songs that when it comes on, it takes me a second to remember it's Ye.

 

It was a joke...and you're not the only one in the thread that obviously loves the song.

 

thats because it samples a house song. its him sampling, a staple in a lot of his music.

Maybe "atypical" maybe wasn't the right word... Like I said, it just takes me a beat or two to recognize/remember it's his song.

 

i do think its funny that one of my favorite kanye songs features like, two kanye lines but the production is very much him and DJDS, which is probably why i love it because i worship DJDS. i also think it fits very nicely on the record as the final "bonus" track and overall closer so it doesnt not sound like kanye to me since its part of the album

 

he made post Malone sound amazing

that song is already a GOAT song for that

But also ty dolla sign on there makes it even better
