I know this is coming dangerously close to ranking but even though my Kanye ranking changes all the time, 808s almost never leaves the top 3

  4. 808s and Yeezus are constantly tied for my #3 spot

Man, Chance...putting Watch the athrone above ANYTHING in Kanye's main canon. Is that even possible? I like the album, but damn.

I used to be such a Graduation defender, but after listening to the trilogy a lot these past few months (typically in order), I have to confess that it is seriously disappointing after LR. "Bittersweet Poetry" and "Flashing Lights" will always rank among his best, though.

Grad has some crazy highs and I love the Complex blurb regarding it. However, I'd chose to listen to every other Kanye album before Grad except 808s (ducks).

Is there a version of 808's with duck noises throughout?

    That's the one!

I prefer later Kanye to early Kanye. Crazy because every album is a classic.

My list of what I think is his best album and my list of what I enjoy listening to the most would be very different.

Didn't you know? Lyrics about red solo cups and tractors are far more American than lyrics about religious identity and class struggle

Same, but I listen to an embarrassing short amount of hip-hop artists/albums. I haven't even heard Atrocity Exhibition the whole way through yet...

This was definitely up there, but Young Thug and Tribe topped it for me personally.

Yep tribe toppled this and was damn close to being my AOTY

  19. This was my AOTY period, as far as hip-hop albums go Blank Face LP, Blonde and Atrocity Exhibition were close behind

  20. This isn't the thread for it but Blank Face LP deserves more love
