IF this is a diss directed at Kanye, I doubt it's about the last month. It's probably more about Kanye's general development.

Haven't heard the song though just looked up the lyrics because of course I did

 

If that last line is in there (did not get to listen yet) the whole doesn't seem as mean spirited to begin with

 

Just by reading the lyrics, it seems half concerned and half kinda...gross. Like he marginalizes what an issue it is and takes it personally.

It reads like "Kanye's going through this, and it affects me that he is because he won't write as good of stuff anymore and his music is bad now."

 

Everyone jumped on drake (rightfully) for his cudi shit I hope people drag Cole for this

 

Some of you should look back at what you wrote about Kanye in this thread just a couple of pages ago. And if you try to tell yourself "but at that point we did not know he had mental health problems", you're kidding yourself or you haven't been paying attention to Kanye's behavior at all.

And no, this is not meant to distract you from Cole's behaviour.

 

I don't think it's as clear cut as that. People can condemn what Kanye says if it's problematic while still hoping for the best for him and recognizing he's fighting an internal battle.

Come on man Kanye calls himself a genius every chance he gets. That lyric aside listen to the verse and then try and tell me it's not about Kanye.
