I'm not into this as much as I wanted to be, some of the extending is unnessary and just makes the songs feel long (pt 1 especially). I also don't like the Famous changes, probably won't listen to much more of it
I actually love the extended samples on this, haha. I was working on my own Swish version with "Ultralight Prayer" and the soundcloud version of "30 Hours," plus it's awesome having a version of "Father Stretch My Hands" that is similar to how he starts the tour. Love almost everything here except for "Famous," though I haven't listened to the final third yet.
At this point I just wish there was a mastered version of 30 Hours without the adlibs so I felt like my notebook tracklist playlist made more sense. And pt 1 deserved another verse and chorus, pretty much best song on the record if it weren't so short/piggybacked by the very mediocre second half.
ULB/FSMH might be my favorite opening two tracks to a Kanye album. I was so blown away by how this started during that livestream thing before the release
Yeah I will never forget listening to ULB in a theater for the first time and texting my friend when Chance's verse started. That whole experience was amazing.
Yeah stuff like that is cool or whatever but why would I listen to that more than what Ye actually made?
I love the album, it totally is fine as is. I just think the extended samples are cool to hear *shrug*
I only have the very first version he released on the actual release day, and that's fine as it is too!
Well, his comments at last nights show were fucking disappointing to say the least. This man is almost on my last nerve I swear. Seeing on twitter that he at one point freestyled "I hope they build the wall,I hope they get rid of them all" Any truth to this?
I don't see that anywhere. Only that he thought trumps approach to the campaign was smart. I really just don't get it.
He seems like he's trying to make a point about presentation or something but, as usual, can't make it work
someone in the comments said he also said “Sometimes things that you might think are bad need to happen, in order for change to fucking happen. Sometimes you might have to not get your way to really understand what to do in the future, to be able to get your way.” but i don't know if that's true or not
Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) | Twitter This guy was there at the show and tweeted as much as he could at the time. No mention of the wall or anything so I guess that was incorrect (though I haven't watched the videos he's posted).
