I'm actually coming in from out of town. Only San Diego but I can't leave till 4 but I hope I'm good. Traffic was pretty bad the other day when I came to see Bon Iver, left at 2 and was in the venue at like 6:50

Not only is it such a nice thing of Kanye to do, but singing that chorus over Waves works sooo perfectly.

So I finally saw this tour last night and it was fucking phenomenal. The crowd went crazy for almost every song and it was so surreal seeing the man responsible for many of my favorite albums. My only complaint was that Kanye seemed a little out of it during some songs, like he didn't show too much energy. Also I kept getting bugged by songs getting cut early but oh well. Can't wait to see this in the pit in 4 days!

 

What songs did he cut short besides Highlights?

 

I don't remember all of them but off the top of my head Mercy (didn't do his verse), and then All Day, Black Skinhead, Flashing Lights and Jesus Walks which were all about half of the song

 

Gotcha. I only remembered Highlights being cut short at the Dallas show, but now that you mention it, he may have not done the last parts of some of those other songs.

 

It's common for rappers to only do parts of songs

 

Yeah I knew that going in to the show but I still wished I was wrong haha

Also @bobby_runs since you wanted to know I left San Diego at 3 and made it to the venue by probably 7:30

 

Now that we are coming close to the end of the year, I can say with confidence that TLOP is my fav album of 2016, and I think (brace yourselves) my fav Kanye album. I have listened to it 100+ times and it still gets me so fucking hyped now, and I'd much rather listen to this one than any of the others. It is my gym/workout playlist, and songs like FSMH, Famous and Highlights get you so amped for the next set (brahhh!) it works so well, then waves is an immense mid-workout pick-me-up!

Don't know what compelled me to come in here and say this, but there it is!

I don't know why I was a dummy and waited last minute to get tickets.

All they had left was some seats in the worst area so I just bought them.

oh well the fact this will be my first time seeing Kanye West has me hyped despite my blunders.
