yeah this looks really awesome, but it definitely doesn't touch the mountain and the masks and all the awesome shit at the yeezus tour. i think if i was on the floor i'd be panicking about the stage falling haha.
Was fantastic. Stage moved all over. Floated from one side to the other. Floor looked partially empty to start but it turned out to be by design so everyone could move around. No way to describe the floor crowd other than lit. So much dancing
He did Only One before Fade, setlist is missing that It's also quite a bit out of order. Because I specifically remember a run of All Falls Down>Flashing Lights>All of the Lights>Paris>Good Life where I thought the building was gonna collapse Show opened with Father>Famous
No waves, ULB, real friends or LA. I actually think ULB and real friends got cut. Not sure why though.
Really shocked he didn't do Heartless or especially Stronger. I'll take Devil in a New Dress any fucking day though, holy shit Also this is amazing
Coolest part is that everybody in the house had a great seat. Sometimes seats you wouldn't dream of having. No pressure to get there and cram to the front for GA. If you were on the floor the show was basically a blank slate for however you choose to enjoy it.
So should I be happy I have a floor ticket, or should I sell it and buy a cheaper seat somewhere else?
Yea I'm kinda wishing I HAD A 100 level ticket now. Anyways, what time did he go one stage, and what time did it end?
Went on at 930. Ended around 1130. 2 songs were cut though, and apparently the late start was due to a last minute soundcheck.
Probably depends on the type of experience you want. It looked like the floor was having a great time. Personally, I was in the 100 level and was able to see Ye the entire show, and also enjoyed watching the floor crowd from afar. I don't think the floor would have been for me. Your best shot at seeing Kanye from the floor a majority of the show is to post up in one of the far corners away from the video screen. I felt like he was generally facing away from the screen looking out (standing on the edge of the platform furthest from the screen). I don't know how each venue is set up though.
Thanks for all the info. I'll probably stick with the floor ticket. I can always move up to a seat if I decide I want to.
He had this light stage setup when I saw him at FYF Fest last year, where he also brought out Travis Scott, but he just used it as a lighting prop, not a full-on mobile stage haha. So cool to see in these videos what it became.
