I liked the Hunger Games books as a teen tho they’re probably bad. I remember hating the first movie bc of the really shaky cam. Second was fine but never watched the last ones
hunger games is a lot of fun. star wars and lord of the rings are both super fun and great. back to the future is great. twilight is ass.
Lord of the Rings trilogy is quite good, especially Fellowship. Hobbit trilogy is all awful, though the third one at least had a few so-bad-it’s-fun moments (like Legolas running up falling rocks). The Hunger Games films are all pretty decent. Not amazing, but really solid. My favorite is the 3rd one where nothing happens, lol. Never got into Harry Potter. If we have to include non-franchise series in the conversation, too, lol, then obligatory Before trilogy shoutout.
Until Jackass 4, it does! Also you forgot Austin Powers, how could you I just rewatched it like a week ago, it's good
Just want to chime in and say you guys botched the line, it's "I don't like sand", not "I hate sand"....sheesh, it's like you guys have never dove into the prequel memes world before. Also I didn't hate the diner scene only because I'm relatively sure the Dex is supposed to be a character that had been introduced in the Jedi Padawan series so yougner me thought that was cool to see. But yeah Clones is terrible but at least 3 has better lightsaber fights and more meme-able moments
I’m very pro the diner scene in Clones for part of the reason I’m pro Canto Bight in Last Jedi (though that’s an imperfect comparison, since the former’s in a poorly crafted film & the latter’s important to that film’s core themes). That kinda imaginative, playful approach to genre storytelling rules. Very inspired by Valérian and Laureline (the French graphic novel series that was adapted into a film by that [“alleged”] rapist director). I know that kinda silly shit isn’t for everyone, but it’s extremely my shit.
the way he says "It's coarse, rough, and irritating...anditgetseverywhere. Not like here. Here everything's soft....and smooth." still makes my skin crawl to this day
